Solstice Side Quest - Bristol Rally
Serendipity at its finest! Grace and I thought weβd take a picnic to Avebury Standing Stones to watch the sunset, but discovered a Solstice event at the Avebury National Trust π₯³ Such a great vibe and looking forward to coming back again to explore βΊοΈβοΈ

I had such high hopes of a tailwind all the way home, but the reality was the I seemed to be being buffeted by a tornado πͺοΈ π
Emergency Squashies were deployed at 87km mark, and a whole tin of rice pudding at Calke to get me home π

Dawn to Dusk Century
Matlock to Bakewell and back again.
Arrived in Matlock and chose to get coffee before I made my way to the trail. Even the caffeine injection didnβt help going up the hill from Rowsley though π The headwind was strong and brought frequent drizzle before alternating back to blue skies.

Ashby to Derby - I woke up at 4:15am and managed to leave by 5am - but I had to cycle so freaking fast to make it to the station on time for the 7:49am train because Iβd dilly-dallied so much from Ashby to Calke π I arrive just inβ¦
