Today, I decided to take the coastal road through Mawgan Porth, Watergate Bay, Porth, Newquay, and Perranporth, then through the lanes back... it was either up or down the whole way, nothing in-between. St. Mawgan is a stunning village with a great pub, and of course, I had to indulgeβ¦

Itβs humbling to see a bridge from 1468 still carrying the world with such quiet confidence. There are so many 50 yr. old bridges in the US already showing their age. Thereβs a patience in old stone, a kind of endurance that feels rare now. Your photo really brings this contrast into focus.

Elan Valley Dams and Reservoirs- Scorching in ππ
Up into Elan to see the other reservoirs and dams. Cycle paths, some gravel and mountain road. Absolutely stunning π in 30Β° π
