Why are there so many trees in the Harz mountains when the paths are still in the blazing sun? 😞
After the Förster-Ludewig-Platz, I didn't care at first, because the paths were nice and flat. Later, there was a 3.1 km climb to the Wolfswarte. Not thrilling.
