Dont follow our route for the bay, just go RIGHT on path after crossing bridge from Parkmill. We went a long way to cross golf course to castle but didnt then go down to beach level.

Don't follow first section up to Hardings Down, had to turn back as stile inaccessible, path overgrown with bracken and had to lift dog over several difficilt stiles before that.
