Hike - Monsal Trail
Set off from Millers Dale car park to head for Chee Dale stepping stones and for some reason my Garmin stopped as was convinced that I had plummeted to my death.

Something a little different

Grand day out
After being idle for a few weeks, what better way of getting back out there. No Carlos today as his bike is fritzed but had Rob for company. Good ride today. Thoroughly enjoyed that.

Whoopie, I managed to get out for a ride
Life has been very busy lately so seized the opportunity to get out for a quick ride. Carlos and Rob for company although with Rob setting the pace having not long come back from cycling Morocco, it was a tough one.

Very windy ride
Got a message from Robert asking would I like to go for a ride. Seemed like a good idea at the time. Has to be said, that wind was tough going in places. Didn't seem to benefit so much with a tail wind.

Back after a break
Recent death in the family (elderly and expected) so everything got put on hold so now that that's all over, trying to get back into the normal swing of things. Managed to drag Carlos out with encouragement from his wife.

Headed out with Carlos but soon enough, snapped chain link (his bike not mine). Fixed so carried on but alas several miles in, same again. Decided to bail and just as well as the chain gave up altogether.

Midweek ride
Standard 'avoid the mud as best we can' loop with a little diversion due to a hole in the road. The gloopiest bit wasn't too bad but more rain forecast so it's going to be tough going for a while yet.
