Up over from the campsite is a tough hike-a-Brompton. Make sure your riding light and ready to carry your Brompton!
The caves are on a footpath, please fold your Brompton and head up to the caves carefully.
You'll want to head up to the pub in Little Langdale after your Hike-A-Brompton.

Head out from Windermere station to the public transport ferry across the lake. You'll then take the Lakeside Path to Wray Castle with a nice climb up to High Wray thrown in.
Once you've grabbed a coffee at Wray Castle you'll meander through to Skelwith Bridge to stop for some snacks at Chesters.

The route to Grasmere is nice and paved, make sure you're ready to climb a little before breakfast in Grasmere!
After this you'll head past Wordsworth's cottage and along the coffin trail to Rydal. This'll require some pushing and laughs.
The ferry from Ambleside goes back down to Bowness in time for some
