From Molsheim we followed the Canal de la Bruche to Strasbourg. A great shady cycle path. The cycle paths in Alsace were very easy to ride, as were numerous French people on racing bikes. Obernai was a small highlight on this section, a very beautiful town. The many small wine-growing villages are also worth seeing. We stayed at the Hotel Le Bugatti in Molsheim.

This time our beds were at the Hôtel de la Couronne in Riquewihr, the oldest hotel in France. Colmar, very beautiful but overcrowded with tourists. Usual in Alsace were €8 for 0.5 liters of draft beer. Food also expensive.

Zum Goethe-Turm mit Stadtwaldrunde F/OF-Heusenstamm und Bieber.
Vor der Mittagshitze unternahm ich eine kleine Bewegungsrunde durch den Wald zum Goethe-Turm.
Von oben hat man einen herrlichen Rundblick nach "Mainhatten", Taunus, Spessart,Odenwald, Offenbach usw.
Es lohnt sich da mal die Treppen hoch zu steigen. Im Wald war es angenehm kühl, bevor das Termometer wieder wieder 30°C anzeigte.

Streifzug durch den Stadtwald
Noch vor der Mittagshitze bin ich abseits der "normalen" Waldwegen, teilweise "Trampelpfade, durch den Stadtwald gelaufen. Der Wald am Hainbach wird immer mehr zum Urwald. Was umfällt bleibt liegen. From Fulda via the R1/R2 to Bad Salzschlirf and Lauterbach. From there via the Vulkan- und Südbahnradweg cycle path to Wächtersbach. Almost only good asphalt under the tires and a very well-signposted route. Today the windmills had a day off in the Vogelsberg and Spessart. It was a beautiful tour today at pleasant temperatures.
