Dachau

Join us on this walk through Dachau, following in the footsteps of some victims of the Nazi regime. We will follow the Stolpersteine.

Stolpersteine are small brass plaques that the artist Gunter Demnig embeds into the pavement in front of the last self-chosen place of residence of persecuted and murdered

On the demanding 570-meter-high tour through the hilly country between Erdweg, Odelzhausen and Altomünster, you roam through an area full of cultural and early historical traces, such as important pilgrimage sites, the Celtic redoubt and the basilica on Petersberg.

Very varied tour without great difficulty, which leads us along numerous small streams through the city forest, first to the Waldschwaigsee and then to the landscape protection area around the Schinderkreppe.

We start directly at the free parking lot on Ludwig-Thoma-Wiese or optionally at the train station

Sculpture walk

Sculptures shape the face of a city. You meet them in many corners and often only perceive them casually. This tour leads along green paths and passes numerous works of art. It should direct the view of the objects and provide explanations for the individual works.
