This was a lovely walk from the church in Eccleshall through the fields to the Star Inn, Copmere, a lovely little country pub. Then a short 2 miles back to the church.
We’ve walked most of this route previously on two different walks.
As well as having a great pint…

865 Swettenham (Ches) 🥾
🥾Life just ambles along here and to stroll amongst the gentle ripples of the surrounding landscape is an ideal way to relax. The outward part of the walk takes you by Kermincham Hall, whilst the return leg has an abundance of field paths and stiles.

864 Alderley Edge (Ches)

707a Angle Peninsula (Pembs) ☑️
Situated on the southern side of the entrance to Milford Haven, one of the deepest natural harbours in the world, the Angle Peninsula has long been of strategic importance. Over the centuries, forts were constructed to defend it. The oldest, East Blockhouse, was built by Henry VIll in 1539 (there's…

708 Landshipping Quay (Pembs) ☑️
Landshipping lies on the eastern shore of the Daugleddau, just below the confluence of the two Cleddau rivers. The walk follows the shore of the main river downstream, leaving to climb through a small area of semi-natural woodland. The return lies through the fields above, passing the peaceful ruins of…
