Anstieg auf Nebenstraße meistens schattig, die letzten km bis Saint Martin de Belleville verkehrlich deftiger. Nette Pause. Bonusanstieg zur Kapelle. Rauschende Abfahrt nach Moutiers. Blöder Anstieg mit Verkehr zum Schluss.

Slightly delayed start, breakfast as usual, from Villargondran on the D80 we immediately got down to business. Lots of hairpin bends, lots of shade and little traffic. Small pass in Albiez Jeune, bar there however closed. At least a water source. Without shade and with an ascent to Albiez Montrond. Avoided

Lacets de Montvernier, I initially misspelled it. Dreamlike ascent, I'm still in doubt how the racers rushed up there last year in the TdF.
For me it was very relaxed. Short break at the top. Short descent, did some shopping. Stayed an extra night at the campsite. Time for another pass.

One direction: up to Meribel. Road with stressful traffic, due to construction site, sometimes with less. The truck drivers were the friendliest this time, luckily no motorcycles. 2 saving water spots, luckily not permanently sunny though, also some shade. Meribel is not really the dream destination
