I found the idea for today's tour on Komoot. In some places I had to reroute, as paths were blocked (storm damage, especially in the area of the H-Bahn 🚟). Oh well, I went around it, unfortunately then on gravel or asphalt. 🤷🏼♀️ It was definitely a change from the desk weekend.

Just before the rain started 🌧️, we were able to take a short loop through the beautiful settlement of Margarethenhöhe 🏡🏡🏡 in Essen. A visit is always worthwhile, I also participated in a guided tour years ago.

Today we set off for Kamp Lintfort to visit Kamp Monastery. The beautiful sunny ☀️ day was used for an excursion to Museumsinsel Hombroich. Admission is €15 p.p. if you only want to explore the Museumsinsel. It was time to redeem my Christmas present from my girlfriend. 😀 This included a visit to the Skulpturenpark Waldfrieden in Wuppertal, including an invitation to coffee ☕️ and cake 🍰 at Café Podest.
