Dogs are not allowed in the national park, so the wilder valleys are denied to us. Today, however, part of the path, or rather the surroundings, was quite special and seemed reasonably untouched. And with the stream crossing without a bridge, there was a nice micro-adventure... just about manageable for the old dog.

A wonderful leisurely tour with our old dog. Although it is Pentecost and absolute glorious weather, we only encountered a few hikers and they were all very nice encounters. Even in high season, Val Susauna is always very quiet, I have been told.
A bit of "trainspotting" was naturally not to be missed
