From the Au/Öberle bus stop, we went up to the Edelweisshütte. From there, we continued over alpine meadows to the legendary Kanisfluh, the landmark of the Bregenzer Wald. A mountain massif with a striking north face that has a high recognition value.

With the sky still overcast in the morning, I headed up towards the Annalper Joch at 1997 m. The Annalpe at 1714 m gives it its name.

Directly from Schoppernau, we went up to the Falzer Kopf with my birth year height of 1968 m.
