Lost Lanes North 18
Another early 'beat the heat' ride taking it nice and steady. A time to just enjoy the scenery, with still plenty of elevation. A breakfast stop in Ripon and ice cream in Ripley. Top morning 😎.

Pre-breakfast ride to Wetherby
Out before the heat built up. Banned from doing an overnight ride this evening by the Mrs🙁, so early morning it was.

Selby Thirsk DIY200
A warm muggy day with light (? according to the Met Office) southerly winds😵💫.
I haven't done this route in a long time. It has it's moments, like the back lanes before Selby, and monotonous parts like the A167. Too much road kill spotted today, including 2 badgers and a…

ECE route check
ECE - Extended Calendar Event. As the name suggests, the 200km event I've entered will be extended (by me) to a 300. As I'll be cycling there and back anyway, what's another 55km on top of that going to do? Only another Audax point. What's not to like?😂😂😂

Stainburn loop, variation 1
As the weather was holding, I decided to shake it up a little ride the spprox. 2km of gravel at Stainburn. It's years since I last did this. My only worry was the Schwalbe One tyres with over 11000km of use. No problem 😂. Arrived home just as the rain…
