This loop has a little of everything.. steep hills, long flats, river overlooks, riverside trails, dense forest, ups and downs, and a staircase of several hundred steps. The direction i took goes down the steps.

Nice 7 mile loop. Passes by one campground, and a small diversion (not taken here) by taking a right at the Grapeyard Ridge trail will take you to an old wrecked steam engine.
