Where the forest path crosses the former flight path near the Fine, many checkered butterflies can always be found at the right time - this time I found only one. Still - one is perfectly sufficient for photos at first; especially if it even sits still obediently. Thanks for that at this point..

I caught the black woodpecker brilliantly and could also watch really well how it properly dismantled the old birch tree. That was great.
Then discovering the very young long-tailed tit (young ones are quite brown and have a distinct red ring around their eyes) was also quite remarkable.

In the evening, a short trip with the camera in my backpack. It started right away with a common pochard. It continued with a thistle butterfly and a brown fritillary. It was rounded off by the European goldfinch and finally the whinchat.
