The Mommelstein Cycle Path is the most beautiful cycle path far and wide, especially in hot weather it is often shady and cool here. Finally, the section to Brotterode has also been completed, it is great to ride.

The Bermerrunde is a really beautiful tour, especially now in May when the fresh green of the beech trees already provides shade. The tour mostly runs on soft paths, but partly on the Rennsteig. Sonneberg was my destination today, after reading Kati Naumann's book "Wo wir Kinder waren", a family story in the toy town. I was not disappointed. Sonneberg has become a beautiful town and the museum has been really modernized. The prices here are also still very moderate.
