Über den Galaxienweg zum Radioteleskop, weiter über den Milchstraßenweg und Sahrbachweg nach Burgsahr 🤩
Heute sind wir zunächst mit dem Bus zur Ortschaft Wald gefahren, dort starteten wir unsere Wanderung. Das Highlight des Tages war das Radioteleskop. Wir haben es schon eher besucht, aber es ist immer wieder beeindruckend!

Vom Houverather Mühlenberg durch die Nordeifel
Das war eine abwechslungsreiche Tour heute. Der Pfad am Mühlenberg ist richtig schön. Danach ging es ein Stück über Asphalt. Ich hätte mir so gern den Eifeldom von innen angeschaut, aber leider war die Kirche, wie auch bei unserem Besuch im April, verschlossen. Schade!

Eifel-Auszeit - Auf ein Neues! 😀

This was a special tour! First, we hiked up to the pilgrimage chapel, before it went steeply uphill to the Panoramaweg. Up there, a man from the community was busy building a new shelter. 👍

I would not recommend the tour as we walked it. It started very promisingly with the beautiful chestnut avenue, but then the route only led over wide gravel paths - not our thing at all! 😑

After all the input yesterday, we undertook a very quiet, unspectacular hike today.
There are countless paths and trails crisscrossing the Rheinbacher Wald, so you can walk for hours without repeating paths. The fresh green is shining so wonderfully now that it's a joy for the eyes!
