Fernab vom Massentourismus könne Sie hier noch auf einsamen Pfaden durch die reizvolle Landschaft streifen. Viele kleine Touren bieten wir auf der Wanderkarte an, welche wir Ihnen gerne kostenfrei nach Hause schicken - oder auch via APP direkt auf Ihr Handy (Pfaffenwinkel Touren & Freizeit).

Sanft hügelig, stets die Alpen im Blick geht es zu Fuß oder mit dem Radl auf wunderschönen Wegen zu den kleinen typisch bayerischen Dörfern. Dorfläden locken mit regionalen Köstlichkeiten, die Sie unbedingt probieren sollten. Da schmeckt man förmlich die intakte Natur. Und das Schöne dabei ist, dass es überall ein bisserl ruhiger und gemütlicher zugeht. Das nimmt Tempo raus, entspannt, tut gut.

Was neben der reizvollen Naturlandschaft und der Alpenkette noch zum typischen Landschaftsbild im Pfaffenwinkel gehört, das sind die Kirchturmspitzen. Sage und Schreibe 159 Kirchen und Klöster gibt es hier zwischen Lech und Loisach - und so kam die Region auch zu ihrem Namen. Pfaffenwinkel.

Unbedingt bestaunen sollten Sie die Wieskirche, das UNESCO Weltkulturerbe, das ehemalige Kloster Steingaden, Rottenbuch, Wessobrunn und auch Bernried am Starnberger See (hier lohnt unbedingt ein Abstecher im Buchheim Museum - Museum der Phantasie - und das ist es sprichwörtlich)

Aber der Pfaffenwinkel besticht nicht nur durch seine Barocklandschaft. Schon die Künstlergruppe Der Blaue Reiter verliebten sich in die östliche Region des Pfaffenwinkels. Auf deren Spuren führt ein wunderschöner Radweg, der alle Museen der Museenlandschaft Expressionismus miteinander verbinden.
