A super day out in the Carneddau, setting out from Bethesda along the valley towards Carnedd Dafydd, and the biggest point of interest on this hike, the Llech Ddu crag.
Skirting the base of the Llech Ddu cliff to the right, a short, steep walk up before traversing left towards the the top of the cliff to the Llech Ddu spur, Crib Lem, a long continuous and engaging scramble that had us smiling all the way up.
At the top of the scramble there is a short walk up to the summit of Carnedd Dafydd. The hike then continues along a ridge line with incredible panoramic views all the way around the loop.
