Regional Manager of Nature and Forests Veerle Heyens: “With the Salangaan Bridge we are eliminating the missing link of the Basilica Route, a green walking network between the Basilica of Vilvoorde and that of Grimbergen. Via a nine kilometer long trail you walk through the Hanssens Park and the Cargill Park on the right bank, and the Drie Fonteinen domain, the Tangebeekbos, the Prinsenbos and by extension the Lintbos on the left bank."
