The headwaters of the Forstinninger Sempt is an amazingly idyllic area with several fish ponds, narrow paths and several break benches, northwest of Forstinning just north of the A94. The Semptquelle is point 10 of the historic Forstinninger Radlrundweg. A treasure from the Middle Bronze Age (1200 BC) was discovered in the source area, comprising around 50 clasp bars. These served as a means of payment and the bronzesmith as raw material for the manufacture of weapons, jewelry and tools.
