Das Naturschutzgebiet Methorstteich und Rümlandteich (Nr. 54) liegt südöstlich von Rendsburg bei Emkendorf im Kreis Rendsburg-Eckernförde. Das rund 46 Hektar große Gebiet, das 1957 unter Schutz gestellt wurde, umfasst zwei Teiche, die früher angelegt wurden und heute ein wichtiger Lebensraum für viele Vogelarten sind.
Der Methorstteich ist hauptsächlich von Gehölzen umgeben, während der Rümlandteich breite Röhrichtzonen aufweist. Beide Teiche sind ursprünglich alte Fischteiche, die von Bächen gespeist werden und ihr Wasser zur Wehrau abgeben.
