Etappe 9 in de tocht van Alkmaar naar Parijs. Een wat kortere, zodat we op tijd in Parijs aankomen voor een rondje door de stad, via Champs-Elysées naar de Eiffeltoren voor de fotosessies. Het eerste deel van de etappe heeft nog behoorlijke sklimmetjes totdat we Canal de l'Ourcq bereiken en zo rustig en luw de stad inrijden.
