On this section of the trail, you’ll find a few informal camping spots just before reaching Rio Grande del Rancho. The terrain levels out here, offering several flat areas tucked slightly back from the road that provide a bit of privacy among the trees. While not the most scenic campsites, they’re practical and close to a reliable water source.
