Some also call this place Fairy Glen. Near Stonethwaite in the Borrowdale valley lies Galleny Force on the clear water of the Langstrath Beck. It is a collection of larger, flat river pools and small waterfalls, lined with trees and ferns. The lower pool is well suited for a cool-down or splashing on warm days, the higher pools are located in a green section of the valley.
