The Casera Goriuda shelter is located at the foot of Mount Canin, in the Raccolana Valley in the municipality of Chiusaforte, above the Fontanone di Goriuda at 1,400 meters above sea level, offering a splendid panoramic view of the Montasio massif and the plateau.
It can be reached on foot from Sella Nevea in about two hours via the CAI trail 635-659 called "Troi dai Sacs," or alternatively from the Pian della Sega state road via CAI trail no. 645 in an hour and a half.
